If you’ve having trouble getting onto the https://edcc.eRecruiting.com site, you may need to change your computer’s cache and cookies settings as described below.
Internet Explorer 5.0 and 5.5
Cache (Temporary Internet Files)
-
On the Toolbar, choose Tools
-
Select Internet Options
-
Under the General Tab, under Temporary Internet Files,
-
Select Settings, under "check for newer versions of stored pages"
-Select "every visit to page" -
Click OK
Note: If the problem still exists, try steps 1 – 3 again. Choose VIEW FILES button. Now use the EDIT menu option to SELECT ALL the files displayed. Then, use the EDIT menu option to CUT the files. This action will physically remove all Temporary Internet Files from your computer.
Cookies
While still under Internet Options, choose Security Tab
- Select Custom Level
- Scroll down to two items under the heading "cookies"
-Enable ALL cookies
a. allow cookies that are stored on your computer
b. allow per-session cookies - Click OK
Delete Cookies
- Make sure you have no other programs open when you do this
- On the Toolbar, choose Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files (choose the check box option to remove off-line content)

Cache (Temporary Internet Files)
- On the Toolbar, chose Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Click on Temporary Internet Files
- Select settings, under "check for newer versions of stored pages"
-select "every visit to page" - Click OK
Cookies
While still under Internet Options
- See General Tab, Temporary Internet Files, select Delete Cookies button
- Then, go to the Privacy Tab
- You will see a vertical bar; set it to something below Medium to enable cookies
If you are using AOL 7.0

Choose Settings for the toolbar

Select Preferences
-
Select Internet Properties
-
Under the General Tab, go under Temporary Internet Files
-
Select settings, under "check for newer versions of stored pages"
-Select "every visit to page" -
Click OK
